This special cave will surely bring you plenty of surprises as it is considered to be “one-of-a-kind cave in the world”.

FULL ITINERARY

Day01

Phong Nha - Hang Nuoc Nut - Hang Va jungle camp

Our journey begins when we transfer you from your hotel in Phong Nha at around 8:00 am to the Oxalis Headquarters. Here, listen to the safety briefing, pack your gear and sign the Release Form before transferred to the trailhead in about 45-minute drive.

Now, it is time for us to trek through the jungle until we reach the mouth of Hang Nuoc Nut. In this first destination, we will provide you suitable equipment such as helmets and head lambs for our exploration. Entering the cave, you will find plenty of beautiful sceneries inside like different size and shape stalactites, stalagmites and mysterious Underground Water. If you lucky enough, you can also find living animals and plants in Hang Nuoc Nut. After a while, we will have a picnic lunch served with cold drinks before set out 2 km in the cave. Remember to capture the beauty of this magnificent cave into your camera.

Afterward, you will leave the cave and continue your difficult trip through the dense jungle. When you reach the campsite under the huge cliffs, it is time to rest after the exciting day. You will be served with a delicious meal prepared by the local and if you interested, beverages such as tea and coffee are available. Stay in the camp for the night to rest and immerse in the wilderness of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

Day02

Hang Va – Phong Nha

Feel the thrill as our second day will be the exploration of Hang Va, a stunning treasure of nature. First, you will have breakfast before exploring the cave just near our campsite.

The steep and slippery entrance of Hang Va proves to be a challenge for any visitors so proceed with extreme caution. However, do not be worry since we provide you a set of rope and harness and you will wear them all the way in the cave.

When you find a beautiful downstream pool in the cave, it is possible to go swimming if it is still soon before continue upstream. For the next 4 hours, you will find yourself in various situations for you will both walk through the river, climb up and down and pass a maze of rocks while the water level can up to your chest.

After crossing the river, you will use the harness again to climb up to higher level passage. It is hard to not be stunned by the unique stalactite formations in this section which has almost the same size stalactites standing side by side like chess pieces. Here, we will provide you with modern Hope technology and extra lights just for the ultimate purpose of capturing the charming sceneries.

Finally, we will leave this exceptional cave to have lunch at the camp at around 2:00 pm and return on a different route to the pickup point. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Phong Nha at about 5:00 pm.
