Tu Lan Cave Encounter

Phong Nha - Tan Hoa - Tu Lan

From your hotel in Phong Nha, we will transfer you to Tan Hoa village at around 7:30 am – 8:00 am. After short time drive, you will arrive to hear the safety measurements, collect your gear and sign the Release Form. Then, you are ready to begin your adventure trip.

First, you will hike through the peaceful and poetic village with the sweeping fields of crops, giant buffalos, and wooden houses. After hiking 2.5 km, you reach the refreshing Rao Nan River. The trip continues with increasing challenge as you climb the stony hill through the jungle before resting for a while. Feel free to take photos or record along the way. Then, we will trek down to Hung Ton Valley.

You will hike until finding Hung Ton Cave entrance and now you can lunch in front of Hung Ton Cave. Take time to enjoy the meal and regain your energy before another difficult exploration. From Hung Ton Valley, trek over to Mango Mountain then descend into Tu Lan Valley. 

When we reach a remarkable waterfall, it is time to set camp and watch the sun slowly goes down. At Tu Lan campsite, you can refresh by swimming in the waterfall, explore Ken Cave nearby or simply sit down and enjoy the wild. At the end of the day, relax and have BBQ dinner before overnight at the camp. 

Tu Lan - Tan Hoa - Phong Nha

You will swim a lot on the second day so enjoy the delicious breakfast prepared. Afterward, we will begin to swim to the center of Tu Lan Cave System via a river, soak yourself in the blue and fresh water and swim 180 m cross the entrance of Tu Lan Cave. Then, It is time for a little change of activities as you will trek and explore the dry section of the cave till you meet the exit.  After hiking across the valley, you will finally find the entrance of Kim Cave. Here, you can try to discover the beauty of Kim Cave through stalactite formations. You will proceed through Kim Cave by swimming and trekking and reach To Mo Valley.

After finding the waterfall in front of Hung Ton Cave, it is time to have a picnic lunch around the beautiful landscape. The adventure will continue as you hike on a dry path and swim through Hung Ton Cave. You will return to Tan Hoa by trek down Hung Ton Valley and reach the tranquil village of Tan Hoa. Here, you can freely shower, change your clothes and enjoy the cold drinks prepared. We will transfer you back at 4:00 pm and arrive in Phong Nha at 5:30 pm.
