Tu Lan Cave Experience

Phong Nha – Tan Hoa – To Mo – Tan Hoa – Phong Nha

Your trip will start when we transfer you from your hotel in Phong Nha at 7:00 AM. Then, drive 70 kilometers through the Da Deo pass to reach the ethnic minority village of Tan Hoa and Oxalis Headquarters. At the office, you will listen to the safety measurements, take your equipment and sign the Release Form and leave extra luggage in the storage room.

The adventure starts with 2 kilometers walk through the peanut and buffalo fields and then cross Rao Nan River. Remember to take photos of the scenes of the local on your way. After that, it is time for you to explore the beautiful Rat Cave and enjoy the astonishing Stalactite formations all around the cave. When you finish your exploration, return to the river and hike from Hung Ton Valley until you see Hung Ton cave. You will use a ladder with a safety rope to reach 15 meters down the cave. Here, you will swim 50 meters and exit the cave to follow an underground river. At the end, you finally reach To Mo Valley where the BBQ lunch has already prepared for you to rest and recover after a long hard trip.

Then, after swimming at the waterfall, you will cross over Hung Ton Mountain, trek over Hung Ton Valley and down a small hill to Rao Nan River. Do not forget to capture the magnificent scene before you return to the Headquarter through the peanut and buffalo fields at the beginning. Here, you can rest, relax, take a shower and served with cold drinks.

At 17.00, we will transfer from Tan Hoa back to your hotel in Phong Nha (18.30). End of service!
