Wild Tu Lan Cave Explorer

Phong Nha - Tan Hoa - Tu Lan

We will transfer you from your hotel at around 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm to Tan Hoa village. Here, you will collect your gear, hear the safety measurements and sign the Release Form before begin your trip to the jungle.

Through the fields, hike 2.5 km to Rao Nan River and climb the hill to find your first major destination, Rat Cave. Just explore 300 m into the cave but you will find a lot of very impressive formations which well-known for their size and number. Then, exit the cave and rest in La Ken Valley where picnic lunch will be served. 

After recovering your strength, it is time for a more challenging trip through the mountains. First, you will climb with the gradual slope, over the Flat Rock Peak and reach Mango Peak on Mango Mountain. You will continue the trip down into Tu Lan Valley after a short rest.

Finally, a beautiful waterfall will appear and this is the place where you stay for the rest of the day. Feel free to enjoy soaking yourself in the waterfall before dining with a delicious BBQ, singing and sleeping in the wild.

Ken Cave – Tu Lan – Hang Kim – To Mo

Wake up and ready for your second day of adventure. After having a breakfast, we will swim into Ken cave, the longest cave of Tu Lan Cave System. Here, you can see the great stalactite formations on the ceiling as you swimming around the cave. Afterward, return to the camp to lunch and rest. If you still want to swim, feel free to do so.

Your adventure trip continues will 200 m swim into Tu Lan Cave, then trek 1.5 km to Hang Kim where you can swim and explore before hike 500m through To Mo Valley and reach To Mo Cave campsite.

After a long hard trip, nothing better than a fully prepared dinner awaits you in the gorgeous landscape around. Overnight in the camp.

To Mo - Tan Hoa - Phong Nha

Have breakfast and prepare for your last thrilling day of the trip. We will begin with 100 m swim upstream through the waterfall and over Hung Ton Cave. You will find a dry passage and proceed until reach a ladder to climb up to the entrance of Hung Ton Valley.

Then, hike through the valley before discovering a narrow entrance of a Secret Cave. Here, discover all the hidden beauty in the unspoiled cave to your heart’s content. Remember to save all the moments in your camera to share with people. 

After that exploration, it is time for us to turn back cross Rao Nan River, vast green fields and finally Tan Hoa. Rest and take your time to enjoy cold beverages while thinking back about the adventure. If you interested, take a shower and change your clothes before transferred to Phong Nha at 5:30 pm.
