From Hanoi: Cat Cat – Ham Rong – O Quy Ho – Fansipan – SIC

DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (L, D)

06:30 AM: Our car will pick you up in Hanoi and take you to Sapa on the highway. We’ll have a 25-minute break halfway in Yen Bai province.

01:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa, our guide will help you check in the hotel and have lunch.

02:00 PM: You’ll start your trek to Cat Cat village, home to the Black H’mong tribe. You’ll see an old French hydroelectric power station, learn about the local way of life, and enjoy views of rice fields and a waterfall.

07:00 PM: After dinner, you can explore Sapa at night by trying roasted corn or baked eggs by the fire, or go shopping.

On Saturday night, you can check out the Love Market, a unique part of the local culture.

DAY 2: HAM RONG MOUNTAIN PARK – O QUY HO PASS (B, L, D)

After having breakfast at your hotel, our guide will take you to visit Ham Rong Mountain Park, visit the Indochinese orchid garden with all kinds of bright and colorful flowers. You can visit Heaven Gate – the intersection of heaven and earth, and admire the panoramic view of Sapa town and the majestic Fansipan mountain.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit O Quy Ho Pass, one of the longest and most challenging mountain passes in northern Vietnam. The pass connects two provinces Lao Cai and Lai Chau, and sits high in the Hoang Lien Son mountains.

The views from O Quy Ho Pass are amazing: one side is often misty, while the other side is warmer. It can snow in the winter, and there are often clouds in the summer.

After dinner, you’ll have free time to explore the town.

DAY 3: FANSIPAN (B, L)

08:00 AM: After breakfast, our driver and guide will take you to the cable car station. You’ll enjoy a 20-minute ride with amazing views.

09:00 AM: At the top (2800 meters), you’ll have time to take photos and visit a special temple. If you’re up for it, you can climb 600 steps to reach the peak of Fansipan Mountain – the highest in Indochina.

You have about 1.5 hours to explore.

11:30 AM: We’ll take the cable car back down to Sapa.

Dinner on your own. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 4: SAPA – HANOI (B)

07:00 AM: After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer back to Hanoi.
