Begin with an exploration of the 3-day tour of Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong. Day 1 introduces the enchanting destination of Mai Chau, where cultural immersion awaits. Day 2 takes you deeper into Pu Luong’s breathtaking landscapes and serene surroundings. The final day includes a visit to a lively local market and the captivating Chieu Cave, concluding this immersive experience of Northern Vietnam’s natural splendor and cultural diversity.
DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (L, D)
07:30 – 08:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up in the Old Quarter to start your 3-day Mai Chau Pu Luong.
10:00 AM: We’ll stop at Thung Khe Pass for photos and to admire the majestic mountain scenery of Hoa Binh.
11:00 AM: Arrive at Lac Village for a traditional local lunch.
Afterward, you’ll check in at your accommodation and have time to relax.
02:00 – 04:00 PM: Join us for a cycling adventure to explore the Mai Chau Valley, visiting charming Thai stilt houses and learning about their unique culture.
Our guide will take you to traditional weaving workshops where you can learn about the art of Thai weaving and purchase souvenirs.
04:00 – 06:00 PM: Free time for cycling, shopping, and taking photos.
06:00 PM: Enjoy dinner at a traditional Thai people’s house, savoring local dishes.
07:30 PM: You can enjoy and join in a traditional Thai people’s dance and music performance, and try the local “ruou can” (wine drunk from a communal jar through long straws).
DAY 2: MAI CHAU – PU LUONG – MAI CHAU (B, L, D)
07:30 – 08:00 AM: Wake up to the beautiful sunrise and enjoy some quiet, peaceful moments before having a light breakfast.
08:30 – 10:30 AM: Our guide will take you to explore Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Pu Luong is considered a valuable nature reserve for scientific, economic, social, and tourism purposes due to its diverse ecosystem.
We’ll visit a small Thai people’s village, hike through the mountains, and explore a cave.
12:00 PM: Arrive at Hang Village for lunch and some rest.
01:00 – 03:00 PM: Continue our journey exploring Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
05:00 PM: Return to Lac Village.
06:00 PM: Enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine and spend the night in Mai Chau.
DAY 3: MAI CHAU – HANOI (B, L)
07:30 – 08:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast before continuing your Mai Chau tour.
08:30 – 11:30 AM: Our guide will take you to a local market.
Next, we’ll visit Chieu Cave. You’ll need to climb 1000 stone steps to reach it, but the panoramic view of Mai Chau town from there is worth the effort.
12:15 PM: Return to Lac Village for lunch.
12:15 – 03:00 PM: Free time to walk around, take photos, and buy souvenirs.
03:00 PM: Bid farewell to Mai Chau and board the bus back to Hanoi.
06:30 – 07:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, our guide will drop you off at your hotel. End of services.

Based on the lead we connected with her and we took a 9 day tour package for Vietnam and Cambodia. When we connected with them our point of contact was Ms. Jane.
