From Ho Chi Minh City: Cao Dai Temple – Black Virgin Mountain – Private

07:30 – 10:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and embark on a 3-hour drive from Saigon via the express highway to Tay Ninh City.

Along the way, our tour guide will share insights about various famous places in Tay Ninh, such as The 18 Betel Garden Villages, Hook Mon, and Cu Chi.

Upon arrival, you’ll visit the stunning Cao Dai Temple, which serves as the focal point of the intriguing Cao Dai sect. This religious movement in Vietnam combines elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Catholicism. The temple showcases a unique architectural style that reflects its diverse traditions and hosts the noontime prayer service at 12:00 PM.

After exploring the temple, we’ll head to a local restaurant for lunch.

Next, we’ll journey to Black Virgin Mountain, where you’ll experience an exhilarating cable car ride! At the mountain’s summit, you’ll encounter the remarkable 32-meter tall “Tay Thien Mau” statue of the Mother Goddess of the Mountain, an important cultural and religious symbol in Vietnamese folklore. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit several traditional pagodas scattered across the mountain. Be sure to bring your camera along as there will be plenty of photo opportunities!

Finally, we’ll return to Saigon and take you back to your hotel. End of tour.
