From Hanoi: Cat Cat – Lao Chai – Ta Van – SIC

DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT (L, D)

Our car will pick you up in Hanoi and take you to Sapa on the highway. We’ll have a 25-minute break halfway in Yen Bai province.

When we arrive in Sapa, our guide will help you check in the hotel and have lunch.

Next, you’ll start your trek to Cat Cat village, home to the Black H’mong tribe. You’ll see an old French hydroelectric power station, learn about the local way of life, and enjoy views of rice fields and a waterfall.

After dinner, you can explore Sapa at night by trying roasted corn or baked eggs by the fire, or go shopping.

Overnight at your hotel in Sapa.

DAY 2: LAO CHAI – TA VAN – HANOI (B, L)

Have breakfast at the hotel and pack a small bag for the trek. You’ll hike through Lao Chai village and enjoy the mountain views, then visit Ta Van village, home to the Giay people. Our driver will take you back to Sapa.

Check out and have lunch.

You’ll have some free time on your own before meeting your group at the hotel to get ready for the bus ride back to Hanoi. The bus will take you back to Hanoi with two short breaks.
