A visit to Hue promises an unforgettable journey through Vietnam’s rich history and culture. From the majestic Imperial City to the serene Thien Mu Pagoda, the mesmerizing “Ca Hue” performance, and the tranquil Minh Mang Tomb, each experience in this city is a testament to its historical significance and timeless beauty. Hue invites travelers to step back in time and immerse themselves in the splendor of Vietnam’s past.
DAY 1: DA NANG – HUE (L, D)
07:30 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang. Along the way, we’ll pass through Hai Van Tunnel, the longest road tunnel in Southeast Asia, and admire Lang Co Bay, recognized as one of the world’s most beautiful bays. We’ll then reach Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest lagoon in Vietnam.
Next, we’ll visit a Pearl Village, where you’ll learn about pearl farming and production, and have a chance to see finished pearl products.
12:00 PM: We’ll enjoy lunch together. Afterward, we’ll head to the hotel for check-in and some time to relax.
02:30 PM: We’ll visit the Imperial Citadel, including Ngo Mon Gate, Ky Dai, Thai Hoa Palace, and more. This is a significant historical site from the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam.
04:00 PM: We’ll move on to Thien Mu Pagoda. On the way, we’ll stop at a shop selling Hue specialties, where you can purchase local products like mè xửng (sesame candy), tôm chua (pickled shrimp), Minh Mạng thang, and more.
04:30 PM: Arriving at Thien Mu Pagoda, we’ll explore this national pagoda of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty, a symbol of the ancient capital. It’s one of the oldest and most beautiful religious structures in Hue. We’ll admire Phuoc Duyen Tower and visit Dai Hung Palace.
06:00 PM: We’ll have dinner at a local restaurant.
07:00 PM: Our guide and driver will take you to a “Ca Hue” performance on the Perfume River (at your own expense), where you can enjoy the scenery of the riverbanks and the colorful Trang Tien Bridge.
09:00 PM: We’ll return to the hotel, and you’ll have free time to explore Hue at night, perhaps trying the local specialty, Che Hem.
DAY 2: HUE – DA NANG (B, L)
07:00 AM: You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our guide and driver will then take you to visit the following tombs:
09:00 AM: We’ll visit Minh Mang Tomb, a harmonious blend of feng shui, nature, and the talent of one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s enlightened emperors.
10:30 AM: We’ll explore Khai Dinh Tomb, known for its unique architectural style that combines Eastern and Western influences.
12:00 PM: We’ll enjoy lunch in Hue, followed by some time to relax.
04:00 PM: Our guide and driver will take you back to your hotel in Da Nang. End of Hue tour.

Based on the lead we connected with her and we took a 9 day tour package for Vietnam and Cambodia. When we connected with them our point of contact was Ms. Jane.
