Hoi An City Tour – Cooking Class – My Son – Cham Island – SIC

DAY 1: HOI AN CITY TOUR – BOAT RIDE – DROP FLOWER LANTERN

02:30 PM: Our guide will meet you at our hotel in Hoi An City Center to kick off the Hoi An City Tour.

First up, you’ll head to Hoi An Market, a lively place that offers a vibrant shopping experience. It’s packed with sights, colors, sounds, and smells.

Next, you’ll visit Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful mix of bright gates, dragon statues, and intricate rooftops. You’ll learn about ancestor worship as you observe local devotees making offerings at the family altar. Then, you’ll explore some remarkably well-preserved old houses like Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House, which have stood the test of time for over 200 years. You’ll hear stories about the prosperous merchants who once lived in these homes, trading with people from all over the world.

You’ll make a stop at the Japanese Bridge, a more than 400-year-old bridge that connects the Japanese community with the Chinese community across the water. You’ll admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge and learn about their symbolic significance.

Finally, we’ll visit some of Hoi An’s famous handicraft shops and art galleries, exploring smaller lanes and local neighborhoods to fully appreciate the endless charm of Hoi An.

To top it off, you’ll enjoy a boat ride and release a flower lantern to wish for luck for you and your family, immersing yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the lantern-lit streets.

06:30 PM: Our guide will take you back to your hotel.

DAY 2: CAM THANH COOKING CLASS – MY SON SANCTUARY – BOAT RIDE

08:20 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel.

We’ll head to the market with our chef (about 30 minutes). Here, you’ll experience the hustle and bustle of the market firsthand, getting a chance to interact directly with the sellers.

You’ll also get to see the ingredients we’ll be using in our cooking lesson.

09:15 AM: We’ll transfer to Cam Thanh Village by car or boat. Along the way, you’ll get to soak in the picturesque views of the Vietnamese countryside, with water and coconut trees dotting the landscape.

11:00 AM: You’ll arrive at our restaurant in the village. You can enjoy a welcome drink and take a little break before diving into the cooking class.

Our chef will guide you through preparing some delicious local dishes.

After the class, you’ll get to savor the fruits of your labor and enjoy the meal you’ve cooked.

01:30 PM: After the rest, you will depart to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.

It takes about an hour to drive.

02:30 – 02:45 PM: Upon arrival at My Son Sanctuary, you have two hours to explore the site on foot, guided by our local English-speaking guide. You will learn about the history of the area and enjoy traditional performances showcasing Champa culture.

05:30 PM: Head back to the minivan and then transfer to the wharf for a relaxing boat trip to Hoi An. Enjoy the cool breeze and stunning sunset views along the Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam.

Keep your camera handy to capture the bustling activities of the locals by the river. You’ll get glimpses of Hoi An Ancient Town from the boat and plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos.

06:00 – 06:30 PM: Arrive at Hoi An and we ensure you’re dropped off at your hotel. End of tour.

DAY 3: CHAM ISLAND SIGHTSEEING AND SNORKELING (L)

07:30 – 08:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An City to Cua Dai Harbor.

08:30 AM: Relaxing in fresh cool wind, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape on a speed boat to Cham Island.

09:00 AM: Arriving at Lang Beach. Visiting the Marine Protected Area, the Boat Shelter, Hai Tang Pagoda, traditional fishing village.

10:00 AM: Swimming and snorkeling.

11:30 AM: Staying at Bai Ong ecological zone or Bai Chong beach, swimming, taking time to enjoy a seafood lunch.

02:00 PM: Packing luggage for return trip to Hoi An.

02:30 PM: Our driver will take you back to your hotel and finish your trip.
