DAY 1: MY SON SANCTUARY – CAM THANH VILLAGE – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (L)

07:30 – 08:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and depart to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.

It takes about an hour to drive.

09:30 AM: Upon arrival at My Son Sanctuary, you have two hours to explore the site on foot, guided by our local English-speaking guide. You will learn about the history of the area and enjoy traditional performances showcasing Champa culture.

12:00 PM: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

01:00 PM: Continue your adventure at Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle (Cam Thanh Village) and immerse yourself in the serene, lush surroundings of the Coconut Forest.

Set sail upon the scenic Cua Dai River, where you’ll witness the skilled artistry of net casting by a local fisherman.

02:15 PM: Next, we will transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town to explore Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Ancient House, the Japanese Bridge, and the Museum.

You can also enjoy shopping at Hoi An Central Market.

Take a leisurely stroll around the historic old town, explore the night market and soak in the atmosphere of Hoi An.

06:00 PM: We will ensure you’re dropped off at your hotel.

DAY 2: CYCLING – LOCAL EXPERIENCE (L)

07:30 AM: Our guide will meet you at your hotel and provide you with a bike.

You’ll start the day with a leisurely bike ride along country roads, giving you a close-up view of rural Vietnamese life. You’ll learn how vegetables are grown at Tra Que Vegetable Village.

During the tour, you’ll have the chance to participate in rice paddy farming and learn about the challenges faced by Vietnamese farmers. Your guide will explain the rice farming process and demonstrate how rice is grown in flooded fields. You’ll have an opportunity to try your hand at learning how to grow rice using water buffalo plows and transplanting baby wet rice at the paddy field.

Next, you’ll hop aboard a basket boat, known as “Thung Chai”, to meet local fishermen and explore the waterways lined with coconut palms. You’ll also hear about the history of the American war in the area.

Afterwards, you’ll return to our local house to enjoy lunch and a cold beer or soft drink before cycling back to the hotel.

After the rest, our guide will lead you back to your hotel on the bike. End of tour.
